Cookie policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026. Australian Health Status currently uses only strictly necessary cookies when an authorised user signs in. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, personalisation or cross-site tracking cookies.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
__Host-it4gp_session | Keeps an authorised clinic, company or IT4GP administrator securely signed in. The value is random and the cookie is not readable by browser scripts. | Up to 12 hours |
__Host-it4gp_csrf | Protects signed-in actions against cross-site request forgery. | Up to 12 hours |
On local development systems these names may appear without the __Host- prefix because that prefix requires HTTPS. Production cookies are sent only over HTTPS and use SameSite=Strict.
First-visit acknowledgement
After you acknowledge the site disclaimer, your browser stores it4gp_entry_notice_ack in local storage so the notice does not appear on every visit. This is stored on your device, is not sent with web requests and can be removed using your browser’s site-data controls.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Public status pages will continue to work, but sign-in and protected account functions will not work without the essential session and security cookies.
Future changes
If analytics, advertising or other optional technologies are introduced, this policy and the site controls will be updated before they are enabled. Optional cookies will not be presented as essential.
Contact
For questions about cookies or personal information, use the IT4GP contact page. See also our privacy notice and terms and disclaimer.
Draft for operational readiness—IT4GP should complete legal review before public launch.
