Cookie policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026. Australian Health Status uses strictly necessary cookies when an authorised user signs in. On public status pages, Google Analytics is used only if you choose to allow it. Advertising features and personalisation are disabled.

On local development systems these names may appear without the __Host- prefix because that prefix requires HTTPS. Production cookies are sent only over HTTPS and use SameSite=Strict.
Browser preferences
After you acknowledge the site disclaimer, your browser stores it4gp_entry_notice_ack in local storage so the notice does not appear on every visit. Your analytics choice is stored as it4gp_analytics_consent. If you choose a default service-directory view, the browser stores that choice as it4gp_default_sector. Services you mark as favourites are stored as a list of service identifiers in it4gp_favourite_services.
Optional analytics
With permission, the public homepage and individual service pages use Google Analytics measurement ID G-MGMKXR8E2S. We configure it without Google Signals or advertising personalisation and remove query strings from the page location sent to Google. We do not send names, email addresses, form contents, free-text searches, authentication details or administrator, vendor and account portal activity. Google may process device, browser, approximate location and public-page usage information under its own privacy terms.
Managing cookies
You can allow, decline or later withdraw Analytics using Cookie settings in the public-site footer. Withdrawing consent updates Google’s consent state and removes Analytics cookies available to this site. Public status pages continue to work without analytics. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser, but sign-in and protected account functions will not work without the essential session and security cookies.
